Attention to Detail

Each instrument is meticulously crafted following a 7-strut traditional design using a traditional bridge, which gives the true Spanish sound begun by Antonio de Torres in the 1850’s. Each piece of wood is carefully joined so that they resonate in harmony.

The aged air-dried Spanish cedar, Engelmann spruce, Western red cedar and Indian rosewood contribute to a consistent tone which has been described by one university Professor of Guitar as the Joseph Slack signature sound. The powerful balanced tone and ease of playing are appreciated by serious students and professionals alike.
